No problem, it was as much my doing as yours. I've been searching Ning for other like minded networks. Been thinking that could be a starting strategy for teaming up. Let me know if you get any insights.

Jeff, I would certainly be up for it. What did you have in mind? I should note that for the beginning part of 2009, I need to focus primarily on finishing my business site. I keep getting distracted from it. Once it is done, I'd love to see what we can achieve together.

HI Jeff, I am only 1/16th Native American.
But having lived in the wilds most of my life, its not hard to see things from the same perspectives they did/do.
As well as embrace technologies refined over many generations, how to live WITH this country.
They hold great wisdom that way, to be sure!
And if wise at all, then credit is due, to having many wise teachers.
Some have been Native American, but I seek to learn to walk this earth in peace, from all nations.
Truth exists, and can be found in the wilds or in cities or from any nations point of view, it is still "the truth"
I seek to see the truth from all these perspectives.
And the total, is greater than the sum of the parts.
I have had many wise teachers.
But seek to share what I learned, as a fellow student.

Thanks for the welcome Jeff!
I look very forward to not only doing a LOT of reading on this most awesome site, but after I'm sure I wont just be redundant in topics, I look forward to sharing what I have learned from a lifetime of study of how to change this world, ourselves, for the benefit of our selves, our economics, our countries, and all life on earth.
I feel that change in such a way spreads on its own. I am glad to see so many here of like mind!!!!
I hope I can add my share to all the positive energy here for change, and help and assist those seeking to do so!
Peace!
Oh, and I'll be changing my handle to Tree Thunderchild,
my ning account name is white dove.
But I am no lamb,
I am an eagle flying with the doves.
I seek to protect this earth, and those of peace,
that they may grow without those who would try and stop them.
A protector.
not a lamb.
A fighter, a warrior, for peace on earth.
More important, than just my one life.
Thank you for the welcome.
May I help you with the intent of this site, to fulfill its mission.

NYT: Luxury-Goods Makers Embrace Sustainability

Industry executives say they are trying to change the image of the luxury goods business by embracing new environmental and labor standards, according to this article in The New York Times. The motivation for this shift is not entirely altruistic -- and that's a good thing. Greed has gotten us into so many of the messes we're in, and greed alone… Continue

Mr. Hu, Tear Down This Firewall!!!

China's decision to block YouTube this week because someone dared post video of protestors being brutalized is yet another example of why this country -- apparently deemed "too big to let fail" -- does not belong among the ranks of modern, economically active nations. The country has too difficult a time with that… Continue
