About Me:
The World is my place and my religion is to help the Homeless and Handicapped Children.

My Dream and Vision

The inspiration come from a point of observation of handicapped people and Children roaming the streets of some citites in Nigeria mostly in Calabar begging for alms.
Most of them at the end of the day retired to uncompleted buildings to pass the night,It was a very gory site when a reported case of ritual dehumanising killing of two of such people in a street close to my residence. These two were killed and some part of them remove for rituals activities or some other things not quite known to us.

So touched by such inhuman treament to people because of their inability to defend themselves or provide proper accomodation for themselves, and even a source of livelihood was traumatic, hence,my decision to get the NGO (NATURAL TOUCH) started, with the aim to provide food and shelter for the hanicapped.Make sure there is a future for them and security of life for them.

Upon our inception,we had limited our intention to mostly the young ones and average aged.Although we could not provide accomodation for them but we provide the basic needs which is food for them atleast once a day.

It is our aim to increase the feeding arrangement to twice a day and also build a home for them.It is our aim to accomodate at least 2000-5000 handicapped people of difiers ages in the home, and Animals too.
With support from other Organisations/Individauls that are touched just as we are.We will establish a school or a handicraft centre for them to study and become independent of their own in future.

Suffice to say here that most of them roam the street with torn cloths and look unkept,We also provide clothing where necessary and affordable to them.
Based on our inability to sustain the financial burden,we are looking forward to Groups or Individuals with similar passion as we have towards uplifting the living standard of these hadicapped and also thinking of ensuring their future.

We are planning of building a home for them in Calabar to accomodate the handicapped and also recruit personnels to take care of their cooking and tranining.

Hi Dennis.
Yes I am doing well, but working very hard to change my own living situation also while at many other locations online doing similar work.
It will take me time to work on the information you gave me, and hope others will view it on my page as well, if it is not on yours. So they too may see what you have to work with.
Sometimes simple and easy for you, solutions, can be difficult to come to but I am working on it (in my mind) while taking care of other responsibilities at the same time.
I wish you and yours, peace, and the tools to obtain better living conditions....
And wish I had answers I could give at this time.
It may take me up to a week to come up with anything, so if you have no other reason to go online each day and travel to where you can, please dont make a special trip for response from me, it will take me time, but I am guessing I may have something useful for you in around a week.
It may only be links to places with information, I dont know yet, I can only 'try' and will!

Is it possible for you to find someone with a farm they are having a hard time taking care of or land not being used,
and offer to trade, (those who can help) in exchange for giving the person who owns the farm, part of what you harvest or work to fixing their buildings etc?

I do not know how you are able to get to the internet.
is this something you can do often?
Do you have a way to take photos and put them online, showing where you are at to help us better understand?
What are your most important needs? Food? Warmth? Shelter? If other please explain.
The more clearly you can help us understand your situation, not just the bad but the good, then the more I and others can see what you have to work with, to give you knowledge on what you can change to make things better.
Do people grow their own foods? Are there farms or land that can be used for this?
You mention clothing is an issue, if we know the kind of area you are in we can then learn what plants "will" grow in that area that can be used to make clothing.
Do the people have a clean water supply? Are you in an area effected by not enough water? Or do you have floods?
The more you can describe where you are, what it is like there, the better we can help.
If you put this information on your page here, then others may be able to find it also and send you ideas that you can USE to help you and the people.
If you are 2 hours away from a city, then do you have a way to get to there?
So, if people could make things in your area, that could be sold, would you be able to bring these things to the city to sell for them?

There are many sites online, that give good details on how to make things from things other people throw away, or that you may have a lot of were you are at.
Even grass can be something if you have it, it can be made into rope, and then sold.
We need to know what you have the most of that you can get freely (the people in your area) then find ways to help you to use these things to change your living conditions and provide them with the way to be able to take care of themselves better.

I may not be back here for a few days, my laptop (recycled from trash) runs on wind generators (rebuilt or made mostly from parts from trash) and solar panels I bought 25 years ago, but I have not had wind or sun in 3 days so I am low on power right now. Working with you comes first because you are in the greater need.
Please if you can send photos of what is in your area, or describe in as much detail as you can, then we can learn what you do have that you can work with to change things for the betterment of the people.

The more you can tell us, the better we can help you.
If you have a lot of something around you, even if you see no value to it, say what it is, because we may be able to help you find ways to turn it into something of value that can then be sold, or used to help the living conditions there.

also it is not clear, do you live in or near a city? In a village? How large is the village?
If a person in your area were to prosper, would there be a threat to their life by those with guns who do not know how to take care of themselves so they force others to do that for them or would kill them to take what they have because they do not know how to do so themselves?
I do not know your conditions, nor if helping these people, could get them hurt.....
The more I know the more I understand how to best help you.

Hi Dennis,
I am poor by what is called poor in my country. I was injured when quite young and can not work a normal job because of it (bicycle+ semi truck = the semi truck won, bicycle lost..) I am no stranger to poverty. But often it is not having more, but using what we have differently, and turning it into things we need, to make what we then need to make, to live well, on no money.
As an example, you do not tell me what you do have... so I will guess, that you are in a desert area?
Of even if not, follow what I am trying to say please, there are other examples, in the same pattern.

If a person could find cans, and flatten them, and knew how to use what was around them to make the right shape,
those cans could be then put on that, and would be able to concentration sunlight.
Hot enough to melt sand, and turn it into glass.
That, could be used for greenhouses to reduce water evaporation so little water is needed in the desert to grow food.
And more could be made, using the same sunlight, and more sand.
To take what you DO have around you, and turn it into something else, to help you to live better.
The more you can tell me, the better I can work to come up with a way to use what you have, and turn it into something else, but if I do not know what you do have, I cant do much besides give you ideas instead of the best answer for your particular situation.

If you do not have it I strongly suggest you get the FireFox browser. There are code problems with ning software and Firefox can handle them better than Internet Explorer can (its not your computer, its ning, but FIrefox can deal with it better).

Dennis:
I have read what you have said and need time to give this thought.
I have read what you do not have, but would like to know more about what you DO have. Do you have access to city trash/garbage?
I'm trying to look for what resources you DO have that you can best exploit.
In ways you may not have thought of.

Dennis, I'm here but I can't really access pages. I can only see a few comments, the rest are blank pages with frames where probably icons or images should be. I cannot send emails, the only linked sites I can't access are the ning ones, I have no problem with any other pages around the world. I had a problem with one collaborator at Ipeace, when the Romanian group I belong to was insulted openly and treated as disgusting gipsies. My origins are Romanian, and my people left gather. I'm not saying I've got problems because of that person, but I cannot ask anybody at i peace to help me, because I guess they will willingly kick me out. Here's my email, cause I really can't access any page linked to Ipeace. I wonder whether this will get through to you, the emails didn't,
I could only be online for one hour this morning, by the time I know that person goes to sleep. Isn't it strange? This has been happening since I refused to collaborate with her after she insulted my people, and she's an expert at this kind of pages, since she's been working in programming, etc. I might be wrong, but I can access every other page around the world.
Okay, if they don't want me there, I won't force my way in,
wordsandcolors@gmail.com
Anybody can write to me there.
